About Flour Sack

Through Flour Sack Enterprises, LLC, I provide freelance writing services, with experience in sports, music, and general interest writing, along with business writing in the manufacturing, environmental, telecommunications, and IT industries.

My work has been published by Friends Journal, 10Soccer, Georgia Lifestyles magazine, University City (Charlotte, NC) magazine, Motorsports America, Julie Gribble, and several web sites.

Currently I have two blogs, Garage Hot Rods and Sitting Down With.

I’ve also worked with non-profit organizations in successfully applying for 501(c)(3) status and researching and obtaining grants.

And I work with some incredibly talented Atlanta-area musicians for bookings.

The name Flour Sack, and the tag line “He did not know he could not fly. So he did.” both come from the song “The Cape”, written by Guy Clark, Jim Janosky, and Susanna Wallis Clark, and sung by Kathy Mattea on her album Walking Away A Winner.
